2° day 5 July -  Arrive to Bangkok

Arrival in Bangkok and customs formalities. Meeting the local guide and transfer to hotel. Arrival at Le Bua State Towers and accommodation.

You will start visiting the Royal Grand Palace, including the famous Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of Emerald Buddha). The sights visited in the Royal Grand Palace include the main buildings located inside: Montien Palace, the Palace Chakri and Dusit Palace. Royal Grand Palace 4-S OOf these, Chakri Palace is open only externally. Dusit and Montien are also occasionally open for internal view (not guaranteed every day – access is prohibited in certain periods). Leaving the Royal Grand Palace, you will proceed along the avenue real Ratchadamnern, passing through the monument to democracy and the monumental statue of King Rama V on horseback. The latter leads to the Dusit district, where there is the prestigious towering Phra Nang Thee Anantasamakhom (Palace of 'Coronation), beautiful neoclassical building, which was once residence of the Parliament, as well as other representative buildings to be admired along the way. Within this complex there is also Vimanmek Mansion, a beautiful and exotic royal residence used during the nineteenth century, three high WatPhoBuddha7oClock structures built entirely of teak wood without using nails! For lovers of Records, this is the largest teak house in the world. After that you will be refreshed in a good local restaurant. We will visit the famous Wat Pho, the oldest Buddhist monastery in the city, which is known to hold in "Wihan" a giant statue of reclining Buddha. Here you will find also the seat of the oldest school of Thai massage. The next stage includes the prestigious Wat Benjamabophit, known as the "Marble Temple" and built in the nineteenth century by King Rama V. The Marble Temple is now considered to be the highest artistic expression of the city, with architectural elements that blend oriental art with Western style. The day will end at the colorful and bustling China Town. Nearby you can also find Wat Trimitr, the "Golden Buddha Temple" to be visited.

One of the best restaurants in Thailand, full of class and romance! After dinner you will pay a nice visit to the famous flower market of Klong Phak Dtalat, located in the old district of Phra Nakhorn on the “island" of Rattanakosin, a short distance from the Royal Grand Palace and Temple of the reclining Buddha. The market is open 24 hours but it is most exotic and picturesque in the evening and at night. You will enjoy the vivid colors and intense countless species of orchids, ranging from purple to yellow, white and blue, roses, birds of paradise and exotic lotus flowers. You can also stay at the night market of Patpong to continue the evening with the lights and stands of the famous touristic center.

4° Day - 23 July – Ayuttaya

At about 07:30 the guide will pick you up in the Italian language in the hotel lobby and departure for Ayuttaya capital for over 400 years of the Kingdom of Siam from 1350 to 1767. Religious buildings constructed of stone are the only survivors of the time and wars. Wat Sri SamphetThe long reign of Ayuttaya was marked by various stylistic periods, each influenced by the dominant architectural techniques of the time. For Ayuttaya today so we can admire the ruins of magnificent examples of bell-shaped pagodas (Chedi) Sukhothai style as those of Sri Samphet Wat (the temple of the ancient Royal Palace) and the mammoth Wat Yai Chai Mongkon, the tallest building and impressive city. Near Wat Sri Samphet is also the "mondop" quadrangular revered temple of Wat Mongkon Bophit within which you can see a giant statue of Buddha in a sitting position.

Wat Mahathat and the Wat Ratchaburana have instead a beautiful example of Khmer style, Ayutthaya_Thailandunmistakably identifiable in shape "Phrang" tower. These are the oldest temples in the city and date from the fourteenth century.
The final conquest of Angkor, the mythical capital of the Khmer kingdom by the army of Ayuttaya did emerge in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries an important stylistic canons return to Cambodia. The Wat Chai Wattanaram, charmingly built on the banks of the Chao Praya River in a panoramic and dominant, is the best example of this stylistic period, and probably the largest and most impressive monument of visual impact.

The day also includes a visit to the Royal family's summer residence at the famous resort of Bang Pa-In and lunch in a restaurant.


Back in Bangkok scheduled for 17:00 approx.


Dinner on  Manohra  - A Jump in the Past

At about 18:30 pick you up at the hotel will lead you to the port of embarkation of Manohra, an old barge used in the early century for the transport of rice along the Chao Praya, "River of Me1-Old TKings." Completely renovated, decorated and embellished with high class finishes, the Manohra today is the ship's most elegant and sophisticated to enjoy a romantic dinner by candlelight in a warm and mystical.
Dinner will be cruising along the Chao Praya allowing them to enjoy magnificent views of the Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) and other exotic buildings rise on its banks. The ship offers a limited number of seats to ensure the right atmosphere of privacy and intimacy.
Back to the hotel around 22:30
NB: the English-speaking guide will be available during the transfer to and from the hotel but will not be on board the boat during the voyage.

Day 5 - 24 July - Damnern Saduak Floating Market - Phra Pathom Chedi - Bridge over the River Kwai - Train on the railway of death - night in the jungle

. After a brief visit to the villages specialized in processing of the coconut to get to famous floating market at the town Damnern Saduak in Ratchaburi province's fertile plains about 10003 DAMNERN 01 - small km west of Bangkok. The visit to the market will start along the canals rural outside edge of the "long tail boats", the typical local motor launches. Free time to visit the market. At the end, continuing until the capital city of the establishment of the Nakhorn Pathom Phra Pathom Chedi temple where the pagoda, built in the nineteenth century by King Rama V on the ruins of an ancient temple of civilization Dvaravati is known as one of the most impressive buildings religious of the world rising up to 127mt high. Visit and continued to wander in the province of Kanchanaburi, whose rough and rugged mountains mark the natural border with neighboring Burma. Day 6 - 25 July - Cruising on the River Kwai - Sai Yok National Park - Lunch at the waterfalls and bath navigation

If you feel like your day can start very early in the morning with a visit to local caves Lawa placed a short distance from the Resort. Then return to Resotel, breakfast, check out and08 SAY YOK B 36 departure for an exciting cruise aboard long tail boats to go up a long stretch of the River Kwai crossing landscapes of unique beauty, dominated by jungle and mountains that are thrown to the nervous during peak River.

The cruise will extend for about 1h 15min. and will end within the Say Yok Yai National Park, known for its small but pretty waterfall.

Time to visit the park, lush with trees of teak, caves, streams, waterfalls and other scenic grounds. Continuation of sailing aboard a large wooden barge with a thatched roof that will be driven below the falls for a fun and wat_phra_luang_ta_bua-Srefreshing shower (bring a bathing suit!).

After lunch we leave the car park and take you to the Tiger Temple to touch these beautiful "cats".

Then return directly to Bangkok, with arrival at 17:00 approx.

Day 7 - 26 July - Cambodia we are arriving!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Relaxing breakfast, then meet our guide who will take you to the airport to board flight to Phnom Penh.

Day 8 - 27 July - Phnom Penh

Breakfast and departure for a day dedicated to the colors and the oriental charm of this small capital city heavily Asian and exotic essence. Composed almost entirely of small houses which rarely exceed two storeys in height, Phnom Penh is a city built for people to enjoy and appreciate its simplicity. Its streets are traveling to the rhythm of a bustling traffic and illegal for the majority being small bike. Lively local markets in each successive quarter. There are no shopping malls, but many small shops, stalls, smells, flavors and, over all, the innocent smile of the common people.WatPhnomWorship

Particularly rich and interesting is the "Russian Market" consists of a myriad of stalls on what is really everything! To get there you will transit to the Independence Monument was inaugurated in 1962 to commemorate the obtained independence from colonial powers.
Inside a gigantic dome by the bright yellow is instead the "Central Market" which converge on the city's main boulevards to show the importance
Khmer Lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon city tour including the rich and interesting National Museum which displays artifacts dating from pre-Angkor and Angkor of the glorious history of the Khmer Empire.

The block adjacent to the museum is entirely occupied by the great Royal Palace complex within which there is also the Silver Pagoda. The history of the Royal Palace is closely related to the French colonization and function of the city of Phnom Penh as the capital of the country.
"Silver Pagoda is rather that Westerners have the name assigned to real time for its beautiful tiled floor made entirely of silver!

Last stop at Wat Phnom, Buddhist temple, located atop a wooded hill, the temple is the symbol of Cambodia and many believers go here to seek fortune. Wat Phnom literally leave you speechless. The complex, built around the 70s of the XIV century, is indeed one of the most important pagodas in the country as well, with 27 feet, the highest religious building in the center.
If you want, no extra, you can visit one of the memorials of the genocide between 1975 and 1978 the Khmer Rouge regime during the period known as the "Democratic Khampouchea," the prison of Tuol Sleng (S-21).

Located in the beautiful colonial building which housed the Indochina Bank, offers exquisite French cuisine in an atmosphere of great charm and atmosphere.

Day 9 - 29 July - Siem Reap

If you have enough strength and energy I would advise you to leave very early morning to watch the sunrise from the summit of Phnom Bakeng the natural hill of Angkor.

The dirt path from the gentle slope that leads up Phnom Bakeng Sunsetthe hill path to be dark and artificial lighting. It is easy to get around by all and can cover about 100 meters in altitude. The fresh air of early morning and the beautiful view from here you can see on the rural surroundings create a pleasant atmosphere ideal for the day, ideally starting from the first and oldest temple of Angkor.

After the visit to Phnom Bakeng return to the hotel will make a good breakfast. Then transfer to the road at about 07:30 in Siem Reap with a few visits of particular interest along the way including Sambor Prei Khuk, the actual name of the archaeological site coincides with the ancient city pre-Angkoriana ofSambor_Prei_Kuk_C01_B Ishanapura.  sights in Cambodia today. Connect person among them some remote rural villages with exotic and picturesque wooden houses, inhabited by simple and hospitable people common in the countryside. The ancient city of Ishanapura was divided into three distinct areas that span a wide area. The visit will be walking along a distance of about 2km to admire the ruins of pre-angkoriane date from the seventh and eighth centuries. Some buildings have a unique shape and original octagonal.

Before coming to Siem Reap will be another important step to see the bridges built in the late twelfth century by the great King Jayavarman VII undertook the construction of a dense road network linking the different provinces of the Empire.

Today's fast and Route 6 connecting Kompong Thom to Siem Reap in fact, still following the same path of the ancient Khmer means of communication.

Day 10 - July 30 - Grand Tour of Angkor

Breakfast and departure for the famous historic site of Angkor. We will start the visit with the "Grand Tour" of Angkor.

Prasat Kravan the first stage, one of the oldest buildings of Angkor and consists of five Prasat Kravantowers aligned with each other. Short step then to Srah Srang (the "real pools") before arriving in the immense reservoir Yasodharatataka (East Baray modern name), now dried up, for which King Yasovarman erected massive dams as high as 7 meters arranged rectangular with sides of 7600 * 1800 meters!Facing-North-East-Pre-Rup-Temple-upper-courtyard-views-East-Baray-2010-02-S

        The middle-East Baray, on an artificial hill made up lie the magnificent ruins of the temple Shivaista Rajendraesvara (now known as the East-Mebon).

Just south stands the majestic group of five towers of the Temple of the King Rajendravarman State II: Rajendrabadresvara, now known as Pre Rup, a colossal "temple-mountain" by the imperious proportions.

Return to Siem Reap and Thai lunch in restaurant "Frangipani". The entire afternoon will be dedicated to the wonder of Angkor, by definition, the place that since its discovery has sparked the imagination and the desire of the Western world: the legendary Angkor Wat.

elephant_ridingAbout 20km further north we find one of the finest and most valuable works of art that we have passed the ancient Khmer. This is a small temple covered entirely of beautiful bas-reliefs.
The original name of this pure masterpiece is "Tribuvanamahesvara" that identifies the God Shiva as the "Lord of three worlds." Today the temple is instead known as Banteay Srei, the "citadel of women".

Day 11 - 31 July - Angor Wat

Breakfast and departure for another day of visits to Angkor. The star of today will be Jayavarman VII, the most celebrated and praised the Kings under the command which, between the late twelfth and early thirteenth century, the Khmer empire reached its maximum expansion and influence both political and cultural. The era of Jayavarman VII also marks a fundamental transition from Hinduism to Mahayana Buddhism and the spiritual is the latter form of worship that are dedicated his great monasteries.

Among these great Rajavihara, now known by the generic name of Ta Phrom, famous among Ta Phrom - 1 - Sthe international tourists because it is where they filmed Tomb Raider. Ta Phrom was chosen as the place of example to show the world the state in which Angkor was found. Even today, huge trees supporting the walls of the monastery and their powerful roots insinuate themselves between the spaces of massive blocks of sandstone to form a mystical marriage between art, nature and history.

Further west will meet in rapid succession a series of buildings of great interest including the colossal ruins of the "temple mountain now known as Ta Keo, unfinished by its builders, and two small temples" flat "in Angkor Wat style, similar and of immense beauty and the Thommanon Chao Sai Tewoda.

dsc02579-SFinally we will at the Angkor Thom, the giant walled city which will be accessed from the "Victory Gate". Inside is "the Terrace of the Elephants" and the "Terrace of Leper King," fully sculpted with beautiful carvings made out of five superimposed records!

The geometric center of the 'Angkor Thom lies the Temple of State instead of the great King Jayavarman VII, the famous "Bayon", known worldwide for its numerous towers on which are carved the gigantic stone faces.
Further north is the huge monastery Nagarajayasri Instead, the "lucky city that brings victory." Dedicated to the father of the King, the whole was fortified and defended by a high wall and encircled by a wide channel through four bridges adorned with snakes "Naga".

Today the complex is known as Preah Khan and its symbolic importance is underscored by the construction, along the same longitudinal axis of the artificial lake Jayatataka the angkor_wat_034center of which were laid "spa" today known as the Neak Pean.

Leaving dall'Angkor Thom will transit via the port most famous of the entire city: the "South Gate", surrounded by rows of gods and demons that support snakes "Naga".

Wake up relaxed, and after a nice breakfast a guide will pick you to bring the Airport to take flight to Koh Samui.
